Greg's resto-mod.

As she came home in May 2000, A 1966 289 3-speed, C code driver, black standard interior, power top.  Perfect for resto-mod. My wife saw it on her way to work.

A "Before" shot of the engine, pretty ugly.

Car in our driveway during the body work process, body and paint done at home.

Greg tightening down the 2x4 Trans-Am style intake.  Later will come 2 390 CFM (cubic feet per minute) Holley's. Engine is a CHP (coast high performance) 347 stroker, Edelbrock 202 aluminum heads, Comp cam, Ford roller rockers, Cobra Pan, and Boss 302 fuel pump.

The car is now painted and waiting for assembly.  Engine bay is painted the body color.

Engine in car running.  Cobra tall valve covers for the rollers, Cobra air cleaner, Vintage A/C chrome export brace and curved Monte Carlo bar.

You can barely see the Carroll Shelby on the glove box, rally pack with custom  gages installed, 5- speed, Le Carra steering wheel. A 60's style peace sign hanging from the mirror. "Who owns that car with the peace sign, mag wheels and 4 on the floors?"
Top down, side scoops, GT 350 stripe kit.  Ready for cruising.  Car was about done by May 2001.

Greg admits to getting good advise from his friends.
